Ik ben Joyce, 21 jaar en ik ben nu bezig met de masteropleiding Biomedical Engineering met als specialisatie Bioengineering Technologies. Ik ben opgegroeid in het mooie Losser, gelegen vlak naast Enschede. Toen ik in het voor mij al bekende Enschede ging studeren heb ik de stad op een hele nieuwe manier leren kennen: als studentenstad. Na in mijn eerste jaar BMT mijn BSA te hebben gehaald ben ik in mijn tweede jaar lid geworden van A.S.V. Taste waar ik nog steeds te vinden ben met mijn jaarclub Myosotis. Meteen was het duidelijk wat een toevoeging het lidmaatschap was, niet alleen op mijn sociale netwerk maar ook op mijn persoonlijke ontwikkeling.<br>Met mijn bestuursjaar zal ik nog meer mooie ervaringen op mogen doen. Ik zal dit jaar de rol van Praeses op me nemen. Dit houdt in dat ik verantwoordelijk ben voor het vormen en schrijven van beleidsstukken en het erop toezien dat dit beleid ook uitgevoerd wordt. Daarnaast zal ik het contact onderhouden met de Landelijke Kamer van Verenigingen en het bedrijfsleven.
